"Tea With Adri" is a variety wellness stream and community that focuses on the growth of the body, soul and mind. The "Communi-Tea" casually communes together "over tea" to connect, share stories, and facilitate open, welcoming, and educational conversations about Mental Health, Emotional Intelligence, Intrapersonal (self) and Interpersonal (people) skills, while encouraging positive peer support and alleviating stress through play.

Dear Reader,

 
After a lifetime of unknowingly internalizing traumatic experiences, I permanently left 20 years of being a musician in November 2021. My mental health declined to the point I had 3 panic attacks within a two week span. I was left home-bound and unable to drive or work anymore.

My body, spirit, and mind had finally entered a full-on crisis, ‘I need healing!’ mode. I was eventually diagnosed with General Anxiety Disorder, ie Panic Disorder with a side of severe social anxiety and agoraphobia; PTSD including depersonalization dissociation; and anxiety’s BFF, Persistent Depressive Disorder. To cope with my challenges, I turned to streaming. There I found others who shared similar stories and also longed for connection and wellness again.
 
Due to the ongoing negative stigma of mental health, healing, and self-discovery, I had lost many friends and had to fight to receive adequate professional support. But, as I’ve learned through trauma therapists, psychologists, healers, and personal studies & experience over the years -- as well as connected with a new community of people also growing in their well-being -- I’ve come to accept and share my story openly in hopes of strengthening and uniting others through Tea With Adri.
